Delhi: Drug Addict’s Body Found in Jungle With Missing Eyes and Ears

The body of a 24-year-old man on Friday was found dead in bushes in southeast Delhi's Pul Prahladpur.

Delhi, November 24: The body of a 24-year-old man on Friday was found dead in bushes in southeast Delhi's Pul Prahladpur. The body was found inside a jungle with ears and eyes missing, also with bruises on the forehead and a spot near his neck, that are suspected to be bitten off by animals, police said. The deceased used to move door to door for repairing zippers of bags. Police found small foil (suspected to be containing narcotics), iron chain, cash and some paper while searching the body. During the investigations, it was revealed that the man was a drug addict and used to take smack. During the enquiry, his brother and friends informed police that Punit had been snorting smack from last three to four years. Punjab CM Amarinder Singh Calls for National Drug Policy Again.

Earlier on November 11, Dharminder Singh, a resident of Jharkhand's Shakri died while taking drugs. Singh lost his life after injecting himself with drugs. During the time of the incident, Singh was alone at home, finding him critical, his kin took him to Private Hospital where doctors declared him dead. During the investigation, it was revealed that he was a habitual addict and he used injections frequently.
