New Delhi, October 5: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday said that the city-wide exercise to identify potholes on roads has begun from today, October 5. Kejriwal took to Twitter and stated that 50 MLAs will cover several locations across the city and identify roads that need to be repaired. He said the the government has identified 50 MLAs, who have been given a 25-km stretch each to look into. The MLAs will travel with a Public Works Department (PWD) engineer each, to identify potholes and also check whether a road needs any kind of repair.

The PWD maintains around 1,260-km of roads in the city. The Chief Minister added saying that the app will be used to click photos of the potholes and record the location. The same details will be uploaded on department's software and swift action will be taken to fix the issue.
