Delhi Boy Nearly Lynched Over Alleged Theft After Janmashtami Celebration, Left Paralysed

The victim Aaditya Raj was returning home after Janmashtami celebrations with his cousins when one of them plucked a leaf. This agitated the main accused who was sitting and drinking with his friend inside a car.
Delhi, August 28: In a shocking instance, a class 10 student was almost lynched in North Delhi's Burari locality by four men on the day of Janmashtami. According to a Times of India report, the boy accused of being a thief was repeatedly assaulted with a stick, and this left him partially paralysed. The victim Aaditya Raj was returning home after celebrating Janmashtami with his cousins when one of them plucked a leaf. This agitated the main accused who was sitting and drinking with his friend inside a car. The accused blocked Aditya and his cousin's way with a car and hit him mercilessly on the head. Police finally came and rescued the victim and took him to the hospital, where he is currently battling for his life.
In another incident which took place recently, four police personnel in Madhya Pradesh were suspended for thrashing about five people following a tiff between them. The incident took place in Nanpur police station limits of Alirajpur district after an altercation between them. Reports inform that the argument broke out when the former group had gone for a picnic at Nanpur Phata Dam.
