New Delhi, November 26: In a suspected case of double murder, a boy and a girl were found dead at their rented residence in New Delhi’s Chhatarpur. When the police broke open the door, the boy who was identified as Abhishek Mondal found hanging from the ceiling fan, while the body of the girl was lying on the floor and blood was oozing from her body. However, the police have not revealed the identity of the girl. According to reports, police reached the spot where they received a call from the deceased girl. She told police that she was locked inside her flat on the first floor in Chhatapur and she needed help as there was something wrong. The Crime team of Delhi police and the forensic lab team has reached the spot. Further investigation is underway in the case.
The suspected case of double murder was reported from the national capital days after a 53-year-old fashion designer named Mala Lakhani and her 50-yr-old servant Bahadur found murdered in her house in South Delhi’s Vasant Kunj on November 14. The deceased was identified as Mala Lakhani. According to reports, Lakhani used to run a boutique in Green Park. Later, in the investigation, it was found out that a tailor employed by her along with his two relatives committed the crime. The accused Rahul Anwar confessed that he killed the fashion designer over non- payment of his dues.
