New Delhi, November 26: The air quality in the city has not improved and is causing extreme inconvenience to the people. According to Air Quality Index data, major pollutants PM 2.5 at 215 and PM 10 at 203, were both in the 'poor' category, in Lodhi Road area. On Tuesday morning, the AQI in Ghaziabad was at 189, falling in the 'Unhealthy' category.

Gurugram, on the other hand, recorded an AQI of 105, which was also in the 'Unhealthy' category, according to AirVisual App. The Times of India report quotes that the worst may be over for this pollution season even as the air quality deteriorated on Monday. The Supreme Court on Monday rebuked the Punjab government for their inability to control stubble burning in the state that is causing a gas chamber like situation in Delhi-NCR area. The Apex Court criticised the blame game in this regard and said, "Why are people being forced to live in gas chambers? It is better to kill them all in one go, get explosives in 15 bags at one go. Why should people suffer all this? In Delhi blame game is going on, I am literally shocked”.
