New Delhi, May 8: The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has rescued a girl who has been forced to work as domestic help for the last 15 years in a house in Delhi's Uttam Nagar. The 29-year-old girl, a resident of Jharkhand, was held captive since she was 14 years old. Meanwhile, an FIR has been registered in Bindapur Police Station under section 374 of Indian Penal Code (IPC). The Women Commission has urged the police to take strict action and immediately arrest the house owner. The DCW also urged police to recover the girl's wages at the earliest.
