Washington, January 23: Gangster Dawood Ibrahim‘s nephew Sohail Kaskar is likely to be deported to India from the US soon. Kaskar was arrested in Spain in 2014 and extradited to the United States of America in September 2015 on charges of narco-terrorism. Kaskar is the son of Dawood’s younger brother Noora who died in Karachi in 2010. 39-year old Kaskar has been booked in two cases related to cheating and extortion. In 2014, Kaskar and his aide Danish Ali were arrested in Spain by the US authorities. He was convicted on September 12 and was awarded the prison time he had served since his arrest in 2015. While Ali is in Mumbai Police’s custody, Kaskar will soon be deported. Ali was deported from the US on 15th November 2018. Reports inform that Kaskar has served his time and is now all set for his deportation. On the request of Mumbai Police, the Centre has approached authorities in the US for Sohail’s deportation, sources told Mumbai Mirror. Sohail had left India in 1989, when he was 10 years old, with his father Noora Kaskar, younger brother of Dawood Ibrahim. According to reports, the Indian authorities have been making constant efforts to bring Kaskar back to India as he is now a free man in the US.
