Update on Cyclone Maha:

Movement of Cyclone Maha:

According to the statement issued by the IMD, Maha, which is still a severe cyclonic storm, has intensified over east central Arabian Sea and "moved further westwards with a speed of 09 kmph during past 06 hours".

"It is very likely to move west-northwestwards slowly till November 4, recurve east-northeastwards and move rapidly thereafter and weaken gradually from November 5 onwards. It is very likely to cross Gujarat coast between Diu and Dwarka as a Severe Cyclonic Storm with a maximum sustained wind speed of 100-110 kmph gusting to 120 kmph around mid-night of 6th November/early hours of 7th November, 2019," the statement added.
