Cows Should be Taken Back From Muslims Houses, Says BJP Leader Ranjit Srivastava In Controversial Statement as he Compares it With Love Jihad
In a controversial statement, a Bharatiya Janata Party leader said that cows from the houses of Muslims should be taken back. BJP leader Ranjit Srivastava said, "When we consider girls from our homes going to their homes 'love jihad', shouldn't we consider 'gau mata' going to their homes 'love jihad' too?"
New Delhi, July 29: In a controversial statement, a Bharatiya Janata Party leader said that cows from the houses of Muslims should be taken back. "Gai (cow) hamari mata hai, hum apni maa ka sanskar jis tarah karte hain, kafan dekar, shamshan ghat le ja kar unko mukhagni dekar jis tarah se daah-sanskar kiya jata hai usi tarah se gaumata ka daah-sanskar hona chahiye," said BJP leader.
This is not the first time, Srivastava made a headline for provocative statements. During the 2019 Lok Sabha elections campaigning, the saffron party leader asked people to vote for BJP if they want to destroy the breed of Muslims.
“In the past five years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made attempts to break the morale of the Muslims. Vote for PM Modi if you want to destroy the breed of Muslims," he said.
