New Delhi, April 11: One more big Coronavirus hotspot has been found in Delhi. At least 52 members belonging to the Tablighi Jamaat out of 102, who have been found gathered in 13 different mosques in old Delhi's Chandni Mahal area, have tested coronavirus positive.
Now the process of contact tracing has begun on a massive scale. Area has been declared as a containment zone.

On Monday, 102 people were evacuated from different mosques in Chandni Mahal and were isolated at a quarantine centre in Gulabhi Bagh. Of these 52 tested coronavirus positive.
Delhi's health minister Satyendra Jain said, "Several people have been found coronavirus positive here. This is in the knowledge of Delhi government. All of them have been quarantined."
The entire Chandni Mahal area will be sanitised under the containment plan to prevent further spread of the disease. Door to door samples are collected for testing.
Under the containment plan, the residents of Chandni Mahal area will not be allowed to leave their homes and essential commodities will be supplied to them at their doors.
Health officials said those who came in contact with the people who have died will also be tested for Covid-19 and will remain in isolation.
So far Delhi has seen 903 coronavirus infected cases out of which 584 are from Nizamuddin markaz.
