New Delhi, November 26: Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi, speaking on the occasion of Constitution Day on November 26, Monday, said that the Indian Constitution was criticised when it was brought into force. The CJI added that Sir Ivor Jennings (prominent British Lawyer and former Vice Chancellor of University of Cambridge), had termed it "as far too large and rigid." However, the CJI added that time has weakened criticism and it's a matter of pride that the Constitution of India has lived with great vigour in last seven decades.
