New Delhi, February 27: The NOTAM (Notice to Airmen to alert aircraft pilots of potential hazards along a flight route) which was earlier issued by Indian authorities has been withdrawn. "As of now, ops to these airports resumed (sic), " a spokesperson of Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said. Earlier today, the DGCA issued a NOTAM saying that operations at the airports in Pathankot, Srinagar, Amritsar, Jammu, Leh, Shimla, Kullu Manali, Kangra, and Pithoragarh will be shut till further notice.

The action was taken after the Pakistani fighter jet entered into the Indian side after the Indian Air Force, on Tuesday morning, took pre-emptive action and bombed Jaish-e-Mohammed's terror training centre in Pakistan. It is reported that in a 21-minute pre-emptive strike, around 300 terrorists were neutralised.
