Navi Mumbai, September 12: The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO), the nodal agency in-charge of developing the township in Navi Mumbai, has invited applications for the CIDCO lottery 2019. The registration process has begun, with interested individuals being asked to submit their online applications at lottery.cidcoindia.com. A total of 9,249 low-income homes will be allotted under the lottery scheme.
The registration process began at 5pm on September 11. Most of the houses being allotted by CIDCO under the lottery scheme are based in Taloja, located approximately 50-km from mainland Mumbai. The region is quickly developing into a major residential as well as an industrial hub. The houses to allocated under the lottery scheme will be priced in the range of Rs 18-28 lakh. The tagged price is lower than the current prevailing market rate.
The lottery scheme is aimed at allowing middle and lower-middle class, aspiring for their own residence, to buy a property in the city. Recently, home-aspirants in Navi Mumbai, in the low-income group, also benefited from the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Under the scheme, houses were allotted in Sanpada and Kharghar areas.
