Yamuna Nagar, June 24: Eating a street chowmein turned fatal for one in Haryana's Yamuna Nagar. A three-year-old had to be kept on ventilator for sixteen days after he damaged his lung by consuming a large amount of spicy noodle chutney. According to a report in India Today, Manjur, a resident of Yamuna Nagar, took his son Usman to get some evening snack. Usman enjoyed the spicy meal and drank up the entire chutney that accompanied noodles. A day later his health started deteriorating and his blood pressure fell to zero. The three-year-old boy was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors kept him on a ventilator for nearly twelve days, reported India Today. The condition now is said to be stable. According to Paediatrician, an x-ray report revealed that his lungs were severely damaged. Meanwhile, it is not confirmed yet whether the action will be taken against the street vendor or not. In some case, the street foods are adulterated to increase the quantity. These foods if consumed in large amount can cause damage to health.
