Raipur, July 7: With several parts of Chhattisgarh received heavy rainfall on Saturday, floods followed in some districts of the state. Due to this, though no loss of lives has been reported as of yet, property loss has been seen. In the latest video, a car could be seen washed away in overflowing water at Kanya Parisar road in Ambikapur in Chattisgarh.

Soon after the video was posted, it went viral. According to a video, posted in the news agency ANI, the car was stuck in the middle of the heavily flowing floodwater in Chhattisgarh and was carried away when the water pressure took over. However, reports also that a man and his son were present in the car when the incident took place. They were rescued by the locals before the car was washed away in the overflowing water. Earlier, two women died after being struck by lightning in Chhattisgarh. Almost all the rivers are overflowing in the state after incessant rainfall in the last few days.
