Chhattisgarh Horror: Out on Parole, Man Rapes 11-Year-Old Daughter and Niece in Baikunthpur; Arrested After 4 Days

Raipur, October 30: A shocking incident of rape has come to light from Chhattisgarh, where a man who was recently released on parole allegedly raped his daughter and niece. Police officials said that the accused was released from Ambikapur jail on parole on October 19. Post his release, the accused went on to rape his 11-year-old daughter and 12-year-old niece over the next three days.

The alleged incident came to light on Tuesday, October 22, when the accused's daughter and niece approached the police and lodged a complaint against him, reports HT. Acting on their complaint, the police arrested the accused four days later from Korba district. Accused's Daughter Approached Police, Files Rape Case Against Father

The man's daughter was the first one to complain against the accused. In her complaint, the rape survivor said that her father raped her in her room on the night of October 19. After the alleged rape, the accused threatened to kill his daughter if she revealed the incident to anyone. A police official said that the accused raped his daughter again two days later after taking her to the Gada-Budha jungle on the pretext of collecting wood.

Rape Convict Rapes Niece After Dragging Her Into Forest

Soon after the minor girl lodged a complaint against her father, the accused's niece also arrived at the police and alleged that her uncle raped her on October 21 after dragging her into the forest. Although they faced difficulty as the accused was not carrying a mobile phone, the police managed to trace and arrest the accused using technical inputs and information received from the people in the surrounding areas.
