Raipur, December 2: Nearly a week after the horrific rape and murder of Hyderabad veterinary doctor came to light, Chhattisgarh Police on Monday has found the half-burnt bodies of a woman and her child in Nakti Police Station area of Rajpur on Monday. Soon after the bodies were found, the police have formed teams to investigate the matter and looking for the culprits.
According to the initial information, disseminated by the news agency ANI, the half-burnt bodies of the mother and child were found on Monday morning. Though investigation in the case has begun, police have refrained from commenting on the details of the crime. Also, no arrests have been made so far in the case. Meanwhile, investigating the Hyderabad rape and murder case of vet doctor, Shadnagar police have filed a petition in a court asking for 10-day police custody of the four accused. Apart from this, Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy blamed the police for being non-cooperative with the victim's kin when they approached with their complaint.
