Chennai, August 30: In a shocking incident in Chennai, a man committed suicide by slitting his wrist, and collecting his blood in a liquor bottle. He then gave the bottle to his friend and asked him to hand it over to his girlfriend. The man was a carpenter by profession and he was in a relationship with a girl for a few years. It was only recently that the girl broke off their relationship and stopped any kind of contact with him, including blocking him on social media. According to a Times of India report, the man desperately tried to get in touch with the girl but failed. On that fateful day, he was drinking with his friend on the ground and was lamenting on how his ex-girlfriend took a wrong decision.

Suddenly he broke the bottle and slit his wrist and poured blood inside it. When his friend tried to stop him from doing so, he threatened him using the broken beer bottle and asked him not to interfere. When he collapsed, his friend took him to the hospital, but his life couldn't be saved.  Earlier as well, he had attempted to end his life, but his friends had saved him.
