The infant began exhibiting distressing symptoms, with fluid oozing from his mouth. His mother desperately tried to remove the ball, but it was lodged too tightly. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the baby was declared dead upon arrival.
The deceased, Sarvesh, son of Ajith Kumar from Arangankuppam in Tiruvallur district, swallowed a plastic ball, assuming it to be edible.
