Chandigarh, August 2: A traffic police inspector in Chandigarh has taken offence and made his dissent public after a senior "insulted" him. According to a report in The Tribune, Inspector Dilsher Chandel, a UT inspector posted in the traffic wing, took his anger out on WhatsApp after he was called reportedly called a gadha (donkey) by the SSP (Traffic).
After allegedly being insulted by SSP (Traffic) Shashank Anand, Inspector Chandel posted on a WhatsApp group of Chandigarh Police, saying, "I am depressed today because we inspectors work for 15 hours daily and after completing 30 years of service, I cannot listen to such abusive language.
According to the report, he also stated that he was 54 years old and a grandfather and that it was against his conscious to listen to such insult without any fault of his. "Sir, mera zameer nahin sun sakta galiyan (Sir, my conscience can't hear abuses),” he said ending his message.
