During the meeting, Amul requested the ice cream tub for investigation, but Devi reportedly refused to hand it over. Amul stressed that without the complaint pack, it would be challenging to thoroughly investigate the issue and comment specifically on the integrity of the pack and supply chain.
Amul reassured customers of the superior quality of their products, produced in state-of-the-art ISO-certified plants that undergo numerous stringent quality checks. The company invited Devi to visit their plant to witness the quality processes in place.
Amul highlighted its reputation as one of India’s most trusted brands, owned by 3.6 million farmers, marketing 22 billion packs annually across 50+ countries, and adhering to the highest quality and food safety standards from over 100 dairies across India.
“We take the utmost care to ensure our products are safe, healthy, and nutritious for our customers,” Amul assured, requesting Devi to return the ice cream tub for a thorough investigation. “Once we receive the complaint pack, we shall investigate the matter from all angles and report our findings,” the company concluded.
