New Delhi, May 6: A 17-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide at her house in Northeast Delhi's Harsh Vihar on May 4 as she was worried to reappear in Central Board of Secondary Education’s (CBSE) class 12th compartment examination. According to a report published in The Times of India, the girl had already appeared for the exam twice in 2017 and 2018. On Friday she checked her result at the CBSE headquarters when she came to know that she had to appear for one of the subjects. Failed in CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2019? Delhi police have initiated a probe into the incident. DCP (northeast) Atul Thakur told media that as per the initial probe, had locked herself in her room and did not even respond to her parents. She was immediately rushed to a hospital. However, after reaching the hospital, doctors declared him dead. Her body was then shifted to the mortuary. According to reports, the body of the girl was handed to her family after the autopsy was done. Meanwhile, the police had not found any suicide note.
