New Delhi, October 25: The drama in the CBI vs CBI case refuses to die even as chief Alok Verma and special director Rakesh Asthana have been sent on leave. On Thursday morning, four people were found stationed outside the house of Alok Verma and were found loitering around the house of exiled CBI chief. Reports claim that the four men arrested have been found with Intelligence Bureau-IB cards. The security officials outside the house of Alok Verma were seen taking away the four men by their collar. The whole issue of the rift between the top CBI officials, Alok Verma and Rakesh Asthana, famously called as the feud between the No 1 vs No 2 caused embarrassment to the country premier investigative agency- the CBI and the government. Raids were conducted by the CBI in Rakesh Asthana's office in connection to the bribery case against him. As the matter escalated, a SIT team has been formed to investigate the matter with both Alok Verma and Rakesh Asthana sent on a forced leave till investigations are completed. M Nageswar Rao has been appointed as the interim CBI chief.
