Cannabis Captured: 865 Kg of Ganja Seized From Town Neighbouring Visakhapatnam
Since last year, intelligence agencies and police have made a number or raids and obtained large amounts of cannabis and illegal drugs from across the country.
Visakhapatnam, February 9: Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), Visakhapatnam regional unit seized 865 Kg of cannabis from a truck near Nathayyapalem in Gajuwaka on Saturday. 4 Held with 50 Kg Cannabis After Police Chase in Noida.

Since last year, intelligence agencies and police have made a number or raids and obtained large amounts of cannabis and illegal drugs from across the country.
One of the biggest hauls came last year when the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) teamed up with Tripura police, Assam police and Border Security Force (BSF) and seized over 3878 kg of cannabis in two separate back-to-back cases in Tripura and Assam on August 1-2, 2018.
On August 1, a search operation was carried out in the premises of two people, identified as Delowair Hossain and Hussain Ali, both residents of Sepahijala District in Tripura. About 3390.69 kg of ganja (dry cannabis) packed in 85 plastic drums of different sizes was buried under the soil of the land belonging to those two people.
