New Delhi, July 3: Various fake claims and rumours around COVID-19 vaccines are doing rounds ever since the vaccination drive started. One of the most prominent question being that whether the pregnant women can take the coronavirus vaccine or not. The Union Health Ministry has now approved the COVID-19 vaccination for pregnant women and they are now eligible for taking the shot. Following the recommendations of the National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization, the Union Health Ministry has extended the vaccination drive against coronavirus to pregnant women as well. People are advised rely only on competent authorities and verified sources for any information related to the COVID-19 vaccine to avoid falling for fake claims and myths surrounding the immunisation drive.
