New Delhi, July 3: A delivery boy, who according to media reports is the last person to have seen the family in Delhi's Burari, before the 11-member-family allegedly committed suicide, claims that everything looked "normal" when he reached the house to deliver the food parcel. The boy, named Rishi, claims that the family ordered food at 10.30 pm and that he delivered the order at 10.45 pm.

The family is reported to have lived in the same locality for 20 years. 10 members of the 11-member family was found hanging in the house in North Delhi's Burari house on July 1, when a neighbour entered the house in the morning after noticing that the shop owned by the family had not been opened in the morning as was the practice. A 77-year-old women was found dead in another room who died of strangulation said police.

"They had placed an order for 20 rotis at 10:30 pm, I went to deliver it at 10:45 pm. Daughter took the order & asked her father to pay me. Everything was normal(sic)" said Rishi, the delivery boy while talking to news agency ANI:

The deceased include men, women and even two teenagers, all of whose bodies were found hanging in the house. The bodies were blindfolded and mouths were sealed with tapes and the police have also found an occult angle to the case.  A relative on Monday claimed that all the suicide theories given by the police are bogus. News Agency PTI reported that a note was found in the house in which it was written that "The human body is temporary and one can overcome fear by covering their eyes and mouth."
