Lucknow, December 4: Saroj Singh Chauhan, sister of Subodh Kumar Singh who was killed by a mob in Bulandshahr on Monday, made a blistering attack at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, demanding that her brother should be given the status of a martyr. She alleged the state police conspired the murder of Subodh Kumar Singh as he investigated the Akhlaq lynching case.
"My brother was investigating the Akhlaq case and that is why he was killed. Its a conspiracy by the police. He should be declared martyr and memorial should be built. We do not want money. CM only keeps saying cow cow cow. Why doesn’t he come on the ground and serve the cause of cow protection?" Chauhan said.
