New Delhi, Sep 3: In a shocking incident, a Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Panchayat member from Meerut was shot dead on Monday. According to a tweet by ANI, the BSP member has been identified as Dilshad. He was shot dead in Delhi's Batla House.
Earlier today, a BJP leader and Zila panchayat member, Virendra Manral was shot dead in Uttarakhand's Nainital. Reports inform that he was killed by a criminal Devendra alias Bhau outside a court on Saturday. During the initial investigation, the police found that Devendra killed Manral as the BJP leader had not kept his promise and had not given him the money promised for the murder of an influential man in 2015.
Details by SHO of Ramnagar Vikram Rathore inform that Manral hatched a conspiracy to kill Hemant Fartyal in 2015 and contacted Devendra. In May, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Khunti Yadav, was killed and his son was critically injured in Buxar district.
Reports inform that the incident took place when they were returning home after closing their medical shop in the district headquarters town. In wake of the attack, the protesters had blocked the Buxar-Sasaram road and disrupted traffic movement in the area.
