Chennai, September 5: In an unfortunate incident in Tamil Nadu's Chennai, a 26-year-old pregnant woman allegedly died of brain fever. The deceased woman, identified as Menaka, was working as a police constable and passed away at the Kilpauk Medical College (KMC) hospital on Wednesday, September 4. It is learned that Meneka died due to brain fever without responding to the treatment.

According to a report in the Times of India, Menaka, a 2020-batch woman constable, was working with the job racket wing in the Central Crime Branch (CCB) of Chennai police.
