Srinagar, March 8: Security officials on Friday found bomb-like materials outside the Jammu Airport. According to initial reports, power circuits that are being used in Improvised Explosive Device or IED were recovered at the main entry gate of Jammu Airport. Some reports said the bomb-shaped substance were intercepted by security officials during security check of passengers.

Jammu and Kashmir Police and a team of bomb squad have arrived at the spot. The area has been cordoned off. There was no report of flight disruption at the time of filing this copy. Further details are awaited.

This happened a day after a grenade attack at Jammu bus stand. Yasir Javaid Bhat alias Arhaan of Kulgam district, who has confessed of carrying carried out the attack, was arrested hours after the blast at the General Bus Stand.

Muhammad Riyaz, 32, who was injured on Thursday when the grenade flung by a militant exploded under a parked passenger bus, succumbed to his wounds in a hospital early Friday, taking death toll to two in the grenade attack.
