New Delhi, May 19: A BMW car turned turtle in an accident at a VIP zone in Delhi on Saturday night. A woman who was driving the was injured in the mishap. The black BMW has a registration number of Delhi. Initially, it was believed that the daughter of an IAS officer was driving the vehicle. However, it was found to be incorrect.
The accident took place on a patch of lawn on Akbar Road in the VIP zone of the national capital. The BMW flipped several times before coming to a stop by the side of a busy road late on Saturday, NDTV reported. The police, however, were informed Sunday morning. The police visited various hospitals in central Delhi to look for the driver but could not trace anyone. Later, cops found that the BMW belongs to a man who runs a coaching academy for civil services aspirants and that his daughter was driving the car. The injured woman is yet to be identified.
