BMC Launches New App ‘MyBMC Pothole FixIt’ to Report and Get Potholes Fixed Anywhere in Mumbai

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has released an application where citizens can report potholes and get them fixed by the civic official. The Mumbaikars can report it on the "MyBMC Pothole FixIt" available on Google Play Store.

Mumbai, September 19: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has released an application where citizens can report potholes and get them fixed by the civic official. The Mumbaikars can report it on the "MyBMC Pothole FixIt" which is available on Google Play Store. Citizens can also report potholes by visiting mcgm.mybmcpotholefixit.com. Mumbai Potholes: BMC Has Spent Rs 100 Crore in Filling 24,000 Potholes Since 2013.

"Mumbai, we've found a 'hole'-some solution to pothole woes! See a cavity? Report it with the new MyBMC Pothole Fixit app which identifies its location & keeps you updated on the resolution of your complaint. In the application, you can upload the photo of a pothole lying on the streets. The BMC administration looks into the issue and tries to fix it at the earliest. Immediate action will be taken by the mapped Engineers and contractors will be initiated for filling the pit. The status of work will be shared at each level.

The rains see several complaints about the poor roads from local residents. Arterial roads in Mumbai are filled with potholes, leading to several minor accidents every day. In order to avoid inconvenience, the BMC has started filling potholes.
