Blind Couple Reunited With Baby As Kidnapper's Kin Returns Infant After Watching TV Reports

In a dramatic turn of event, an eight-month-old infant was united with his parents, three days after he was kidnapped from a bus stand in Bengaluru.

Bengaluru, April 30: In a dramatic turn of events, an eight-month-old infant was reunited with his parents three days after he was kidnapped from a bus stand in Bengaluru. Relatives of the alleged kidnapper handed the infant to the police after watching TV reports. BK Chinnu and Basavaraju had arrived in Bengaluru from Raichur on Saturday with their son Sagar at the Majestic Bus Stand. 8-Month-Old Boy Kidnapped From Kalyan Railway Station, Police Probes Using CCTV Footage.

The couple had reached Majestic on April 27 in the morning to meet a relative. According to a report published in CNN News18, after the baby started crying, the couple moved to the BMTC bus station and were waiting for the next bus at platform number 19D. Man Arrested for Kidnapping 3-yr-old for Ransom.

The baby was kidnapped when Chinu took him to the nearest drinking water Kiosk, and a lady standing next to her offered to help her with the baby. After which the lady took the baby along with her. However, the infant was returned to the couple three days after the abduction.

As per the police, the relatives of the alleged kidnapper had handed the baby over to cops after seeing news reports. The relatives claimed that some lady had given them the baby and disappeared. The police are questioning the people who had handed over the baby.
