New Delhi, December 9: Bharatiya Janata Party Spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia and his counterpart Samajwadi Party's Anurag Bhadoria on Saturday scuffled and manhandled each other, similar to fights in Big Boss house, during a live debate on a private channel. As the matter escalated on the sets, Police officials were called in. Later, SP's Bhadoria was taken into custody. The incident took place during a debate at a news channel based in Noida's Sector 16-A. As the altercation escalated, BJP spokesperson lodged a police complaint at the sector 20 police station. In the 17-second video clip, Bhadoria and Bhatia can be seen having a heated argument. As the argument escalated, Bhadoria aggressively pushed Bhatia. However, people on the sets prevented them from getting physical. Meanwhile, it is not clear that what led to this scuffle and who started it.
Gaurav Bhatia in his twitter handle wrote, "Today while participating in a debate on news channel, Anurag Bhadoria SP spokesperson physically manhandled me. I could have done the same but as a law abiding citizen, I have given a complaint against him and the law will take its own course now."
Earlier, a similar video went viral where Bhatia and Congress spokesperson Ragini Nayak exchanged war of words over comments on Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the heated debate, Bhatia can be seen calling Rahul Gandhi as Chaprasi, after Ragini Nayak called PM Modi a thief.
