Guna, August 27: The Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Madhya Pradesh's Guna, KP Yadav on Monday stoked controversy. During a protest against Ashoknagar district Collector, Yadav made derogatory comments against her. In the clip, which is going viral on social media, Yadav can be heard saying that "Dusre jo pehle sansad rahe hain unke charan chumban ke liye wo gaon gaon pahuch jati thi. Yadav's statement translates to, "She earlier used to visit every village to meet previous MPs' and kiss their feet. Today an MP himself came and if she can't address the issues, I'll sit here on the road. These people have made me MP."

KP Yadav Makes Derogatory Remark Against Woman Collector

In 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, BJP's K. P. Yadav defeated Indian National Congress' Jyotiraditya Scindia from Guna. In Madhya Pradesh, the Saffron party won 28 of the 29 seats.
