Patna, Oct 1: Congress leader Rajesh Lilothia was left red-faced when a girl asked him a slew of questions during an event where the party was distributing pepper sprays to women and promoting its Indira Shakti app. During an interaction, Rajesh Lilothia looked puzzled by questions asked by the girl on use of pepper spray for self-defence.

The girl asked Lilothia if she will have enough time to take out pepper spray if someone attacks her. She further said the techniques of self-defence are more reliable than pepper sprays. In his response, rattled Lilothia advised the girl to stay at home rather than going out. Unfazed by Lilothia's reaction, the girl, however, continued questioning.

She then targetted the Indira Shakti app, launched by the Congress "to fill the women with a sense of empowerment", and said how the app would provide instant help if someone molests her. Visibly upset, Lilothia told the girl not to retaliate because she is not strong enough. "You are not strong enough to catch hold of 4-5 people," Lilothia is seen saying in the video.

On the birth anniversary of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi, the Congress launched the Indira Shakti app and started distribution of pepper sprays inscribed with images of Congress president Rahul Gandhi.
