Begusarai, February 18: In a rare case of courage, a man with gunshot wounds dropped off his 18-year-old daughter at her intermediate examination centre before driving himself to a private hospital. The incident occurred in Bihar's Begusarai district on February 13. According to a report in Times of India, Singh was driving his motorbike along with his daughter Damini Kumari, to examination centre- J K High School near Begusarai railway station. On the way, six criminals halted them near Lasrahi village on Birpur-Begusarai road. Soon after the attack, the criminals fleed from the spot on their motorbikes. The braveheart father instead of driving to the hospital, rode seven kilometres to daughter's examination centre. Later he visited a nursing home to get treatment. The police officials while speaking to TOI said that an investigation will be held once the survivor gains consciousness.
