Patna, May 27: In a shocking incident in Bihar, a man allegedly killed his 28-year-old wife after she opposed his illicit affair. The alleged incident occurred on Saturday morning, May 25, in the Sarewan village under the Bhabua police station in the Kaimur district. Cops said that the accused killed his wife for opposing his relationship with another woman.

The murder incident came to light when the deceased woman, Kajal Devi's body, was found lying in a suspicious condition, reports TOI. An official said Devi is the daughter of Omprakash Bind of Dhaneksha village under the Durgawati police station area. While Devi's father has alleged murder, her in-laws claimed she died by suicide. Devi was married to Sunil Bind, a resident of Sarewan village, in 2014. Meanwhile, the family members of the accused are at large after the incident came to light. Mukesh Kumar, Bhabhua police station in-charge, said there were deep injury marks on different parts of Devi's body.

He also said that there was a mark on the deceased woman's neck. The police have sent Devi's body to Sadar Hospital, Bhabhua, for post-mortem. The police have registered against five people, including Devi's husband. Raids are being carried out by the police to nab the absconding accused.
