Chaudhary had refused to step down after his party lost power a fortnight ago when Chief Minister Nitish Kumar snapped ties with 'Mahagathbandhan' and returned to the BJP-led coalition. BJP MLA Nandkishore Yadav moved the no-confidence motion against the Speaker.
