Patna, June 4: Counting of votes for the 2024 India Elections results is underway, with the results being declared today, June 4. According to the latest trends by the Election Commission at 7.15 pm in Bihar, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 3 seats and is leading on 9, Congress won 1 and is leading on 2, Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) won one and the Janata Dal (United) - JD(U) is leading on 12 Lok Sabha seats each.

Similarly, Lok Janshakti Party(Ram Vilas) is leading on 5 seats, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on five seats, Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation) - CPI(ML)(L) is leading on 2 and Independent candidate was leading on one Lok Sabha seats each. The 40-member Lok Sabha of Bihar went to poll in all seven phases of the Lok Sabha elections. The main parties in the state are the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Janata Dal-United (JD(U)), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), and Congress. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar comprises five parties: BJP, JD(U), Lok Janshakti Party (LJP)-Ram Vilas, Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), and Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM). The opposition bloc, INDIA, includes the RJD, Congress, and Left parties, namely the Communist Party of India (CPI), Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation (CPIML Liberation), and Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPIM).

Meanwhile, the INDIA bloc is expected to enhance its tally, securing 7-10 seats.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections in Bihar, the BJP won 17 seats, JD(U) secured 16 seats, LJP won six seats, while the Congress managed to win only one seat. The results of the 2024 elections are keenly awaited, with major political dynamics at play in the state.
