Bhopal, July 13: In a bizarre incident, a man in Madhya Pradesh has kept a model hostage at her house claiming that he loves her. According to a tweet by ANI, the man has the girl hostage at her house in Bhopal. The Police Team is trying to rescue the girl but has been unable to do it.

According to a report by Zee News, the woman returned to Bhopal two months back from Mumbai where she reportedly knew the accused. The man, identified, as Rohit began calling her frequently and when she stopped answering his calls, he reached her house on Friday morning and locked it from inside.

Reports further inform that the man threatened to kill the woman and her family unless she admits to loving him and has claimed that he has already cut himself in several places.

Details by Police inform that the man claims he loves her and wants to marry the girl. The Police informed that the man has asked us for a stamp paper & mobile charger.

When the Police tried to barge in at her house in Bhopal, the man tried to threaten them. "We saw the girl, she was covered in blood.' Cops are trying to rescue her", the Police informed.

Earlier this week, a 14-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped twice in a span of 24 hours in Madhya Pradesh's Chhindwara.  Police informed that a total of five men have been arrested in the case. According to a report by PTI, the girl left her house on the evening of July 6, and when she did not return, a complaint was lodged at the Kundipura Police Station the next day, said Additional Superintendent of Police Niraj Soni.

Police found the girl wandering in a disoriented state in Mahua Tola area on July 8, he said. While she returned home the next day, three more men, identified as Bunty Bhalavi, 23, Ankit Raghuvanshi,25 and Amit Vishwakarma, 21 accosted her, took her back to Bhonde's house, and allegedly raped her, he said.

The accused have been charged under IPC sections 376 (D) (gang-rape), 506 (criminal intimidation), 363 (kidnapping), 342 (wrongful confinement) and also under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
