A level 4 fire broke out at MTNL Building in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex area on Monday at 3:30 pm. Fire brigade officials were informed as soon as the incident took place and they came to the spot to rescue several employees who were trapped in the building.

The fire erupted at the MTNL office erupted on the second floor of the nine-storey building. The exact cause of the fire was not known. One of the firemen had to be admitted in the hospital after he suffered suffocation.
There has been a similar incident from Kolkata on Monday. A fire broke out at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) building in Salt Lake City on Monday evening. Huge smoke was seen billowing out of the BSNL building. After receiving the information, six fire tenders immediately rushed to the spot and fire-fighting operations are underway.
