Bhopal, Sep 4: Section 144 has been imposed in several districts of Madhya Pradesh including Satna, Bhind, Shivpuri, Gwalior among others ahead of the Bharat Bandh on September 6. The nationwide bandh has been called by people belonging to OBC, SC/ST category against amendments in SC/ST Act. According to a tweet by ANI, about 35 organizations have called for a bandh. Fake message and posts over Bharat Bandh protest on September 6 are going viral on social media.
The messages that are doing rounds on social media inform that people belonging to General and OBC categories will hold a nationwide strike on September 6 against Dalit reservation and the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

Reports say that protesters have given a call for nationwide bandh on September 6 against the amendment in the bill and the reservation policy. Reports inform that on September 8, the protesters will plan their next action to continue their agitation till Lok Sabha polls in 2019.
According to a report by TOI, the state government of Madhya Pradesh has sounded an alert in view of chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s ongoing ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ to monitor and control such incidents.
A senior BJP state functionary was quoted in the TOI reports saying that the anti-quota protesters have been showing black flags, raising slogans during public meetings and programmes all over the state and appealing to anti-reservation supporters to vote for NOTA in coming elections.
