Bengaluru, October 3: A 25-year-old man, Harsh Sinha, fatally stabbed a BMTC bus conductor in Bengaluru on Tuesday, October 1. Bengaluru Police investigation revealed that Harsh Sinha was carrying the knife with the intent to attack his former boss, who had recently fired him, a report said. Fearing that his ex-employer would prevent him from securing future employment, Sinha had been wandering the city since his dismissal.

According to a report published by Indian Express, Sinha, who stabbed a BMTC bus driver on a crowded bus in Bengaluru, was carrying the knife with the intent to kill his former boss, who had fired him. Sinha was then arrested after police arrived at the scene. The incident, which occurred near the ITPL bus stop in Whitefield, was captured on video and quickly went viral on social media. The altercation began when the 45-year-old conductor, Yogesh, asked Sinha to move away from the footboard for safety reasons, as he was obstructing passengers from boarding and de-boarding the bus. Following the stabbing, Sinha reportedly threatened other passengers, forcing them to vacate the bus. The bus driver, Siddalingaswamy, managed to lock the doors and escape, leaving Sinha inside. Sinha then allegedly took a hammer and began vandalising the bus, breaking windows and causing panic among the remaining passengers. The video of the incident shows passengers fleeing the bus in fear as Sinha wreaked havoc inside. The police are currently investigating the case and have taken Sinha into custody.
