Bengaluru, August 12: A woman and her lover were spending private time together when her husband unexpectedly caught them in the act at their home in Hagadur near Whitefield in Bengaluru. The couple reportedly used a USB cable to strangle him, causing his death. Initially, they attempted to pass off the murder as an accident, claiming the husband lost consciousness after a fall. However, police suspicions were aroused due to the marks on the husband's throat, leading to their arrest.

As per a Times of India report, the accused, identified as 32-year-old Tejaswini and her 34-year-old lover Gajendra Babu, both EMI collectors at private finance, were caught in a compromising situation by Tejaswini's husband, Mahesh, and an auto-rickshaw driver at their residence in Hagadur on August 9. In a desperate attempt to conceal their affair, Tejaswini and Babu used a USB cable to strangle Mahesh. Bengaluru Shocker: Cops Argue Who Will Take Accident Victim to Hospital as Man Lies on Road Bleeding, Probe Launched Against Policemen After Video Goes Viral.

After Mahesh became unconscious, the duo attempted to mislead the situation by claiming he had fallen and lost consciousness. They rushed him to a hospital, but Mahesh was pronounced dead upon arrival. As per the report, authorities discovered strangulation marks on Mahesh’s throat, which contradicted the accidental death claim. Tejaswini initially told the police that Mahesh had fallen during an argument, but the evidence pointed to foul play. Bengaluru Shocker: Woman From Bihar Stabbed to Death in Koramangala PG Accommodation, Police Suspect Boyfriend’s Involvement (Watch Video).

Concurrently, Mahesh's brother, Ramesh, filed a complaint after receiving the news of his brother's death, detailing that the murder had occurred in front of the couple's 14-year-old son. Mahesh and Tejaswini had been married for years, and she had been secretly involved with Babu, leading to frequent disputes. As the investigation continued, the police detained both Tejaswini and Babu, who confessed to the crime during interrogation. After a thorough investigation, the Whitefield police arrested both the accused on charges of murder.
