Bengaluru Shocker: Woman Finds Hidden Mobile Filming Her in Toilet of Hospital, Suspect Arrested
A staffer at Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences in Bengaluru was arrested for filming women in a hospital restroom. A female staff member found his phone recording in the toilet, leading to his immediate arrest.
Bengaluru, November 9: In a disturbing incident at Bengaluru’s Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences, a 28-year-old male hospital staffer was arrested for allegedly recording women in a restroom. The suspect, identified as Yellalinga from Kalaburagi, had been working as a patient helper on a contract basis for five months.

Suspicious, she inspected the device and discovered it was recording, capturing private moments of women using the facility. Moments later, Yellalinga approached her, addressing her as “sister” and asking her to return the phone. However, she refused, raising an alarm that attracted other staff members. The accused admitted to placing the phone in the restroom earlier in the day around 10 am. Upon investigation, police confirmed that no additional videos were found on the device, and Yellalinga was subsequently arrested and taken to Bengaluru Central Prison. Hospital management and local authorities are conducting further inquiries to address safety concerns on the premises and prevent such incidents in the future.
This comes after a 21-year-old final-year computer science student from a private engineering college near Kumbalagodu on Mysuru Road was arrested on the charges of recording inside a women's toilet using his mobile phone.
The accused Kushal Gowda is a resident of Chikkagollarahatti, Magadi Road. Investigation revealed that Kushal was hiding inside the ladies' toilet and had placed his mobile phone in the gap between the walls of the adjacent toilets.
