Bengaluru, October 15: A tragic incident unfolded on Sunday, October 13, when a family was found dead in their home, with authorities suspecting a murder-suicide. The bodies of a 29-year-old woman, her two young daughters, and her husband were discovered after a relative raised concerns about their well-being. Initial investigations indicate that the mother allegedly strangled her daughters before taking her own life, while the father took his own life after discovering their bodies. Police are examining the circumstances surrounding the incident, including potential marital disputes or financial stressors.

The horrific incident came to light on the morning of October 14, when Avinash's younger brother, Udhay Kumar, a physical education trainer, grew worried after receiving reports from neighbours about the family's failure to open their door. Concerned for their safety, Udhay forced entry into the home in Yeddyurappa Nagar, only to make the grim discovery of his brother's lifeless body hanging from the ceiling, along with the bodies of Mamatha and their daughters lying on the bed. Bengaluru Shocker: 29-Year-Old Woman’s Body Cut Into 32 Pieces, Found Stored in Refrigerator in Malleswaram House (Watch Video).

According to a Times of India report, preliminary investigations suggest that marital discord may have played a significant role in Mamatha's tragic decision to end her children's lives. While the couple had been residing in Bengaluru for six years after moving from Kalaburagi, police suspect that underlying financial pressures and personal conflicts could have contributed to the family's distress. Bengaluru Shocker: Man Punched and Struck With Brass Plate After Requesting Arts Store Employees To Learn Kannada in Chickpet, 2 Arrested.
