Mumbai, January 17: In a shocking incident that took place in Karnataka, a man allegedly killed his newly married wife in Bengaluru. Police officials said that the accused, a hardware engineer smothered his wide to death at their house in Bengaluru's Tavarekere. The shocking incident took place on Monday.
According to a report in the Times of India, the man killed his wife at their home in avarekere near BTM Layout. After the incident came to light, the man has been at large. The deceased has been identified as Naz Khanum (22), a homemaker. Police officials said that the accused identified as Nasir Hussain (30) is from Kolkata. A police officer said that Hussian fell in love with Khanum, who used to live near his house in Electronics City house. The duo married six month ago after both families agreed to their relationship. Nearly 20 days ago, the couple shifted to Subhashnagar.
Cops said that Hussain suspected his wife's fidelity, following which he killed her at night. An officer said that the incident came to light when Hussain sent a WhatsApp message to Ayub, Khanum’s elder brother the next morning. In his message, Hussain told Ayub that he killed Khanum and even asked him to collect her body from their house. All efforts were in vain when Ayub tried to call his sister. Later, he called Hussain, whose mobile was switched off. Post this, Ayub and his relatives rushed to Hussain's residence where they found Khanum dead.
