Bengaluru, July 30: In a shocking incident in Karnataka, a 27-year-old man was arrested for allegedly body shaming and flashing two women in Bengaluru. The alleged incident occurred on Friday, July 26, at Kaverinagar in West Bengaluru. Police officials said that the accused body shamed the women and went on to flash at them in broad daylight.
The arrested accused, Adarsh AR, is said to be a resident of Kamakshipalya and a private firm employee, reports the Times of India. In her complaint, the woman alleged that the incident occurred at 1:30 PM near Kere Ground. The complaint said she and her friend were travelling on their scooter when she noticed a biker watching them. As per the complaint, the accused followed the women soon after they started their ride. Accused Stalks and Body Shames Woman in Bengaluru
She claimed that the accused followed them for more than three kilometres. The woman further claimed that the accused got into an argument with them when she stopped her bike and questioned him. She also said that the accused told her friend to gain some weight to be "ideal for physical intimacy".
Man Flashes at Women in Broad Daylight
After the two women scolded him, the accused rode his bike away from them and later took a U-turn and came near them. He started abusing the two women and even asked them about their destination. When the women said it was none of his business as to where they were going, he unzipped his pants and flashed at them before fleeing the sport. However, the two women managed to click a picture of the accused along with his bike. Following this, the victims approached the police, who traced the bike's owner using the registration number. The owner told cops that his friend had borrowed the bike. When the accused was caught, he alleged that the women scolded him first, following which he abused them. He was arrested under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and later released on bail.
