Mumbai, August 26: A doctor in Bengaluru approached cops claiming that his morphed photos were allegedly used in a sex video. The 58-year-old doctor, in his complaint, stated that a few miscreants reportedly threatened to upload a sex video of him on social media, which has his morphed pictures. The incident came to light when the doctor received the threatening call on August 22.
According to a report in the Times of India, the doctor works with a private hospital on Cunningham Road. In his complaint, the doctor claimed that he received the threatening video call from an unidentified number while he was at work. "Another video call was made from the same number at 9.18 pm, but I did not receive it.," he said. Cops said that after the doctor did not receive the call, he received a video clip from the number on his phone. When the doctor played the 21-second video, he saw the morphed images used in it. "I found it was for 21 seconds and edited to show me in an obscene manner."
An officer privy to the case said that the unidentified miscreants also left a voice message threatening to upload the video on social media. When cops asked him if the miscreants demanded money, the doctor said he immediately blocked the number and had not gotten any calls or messages since then. Meanwhile, the Karnataka police arrested a model from Mumbai on August 16 in connection with a honey-trapping case. Cops said the gang extorted huge amounts of money by threatening the victims to convert to Islam and get circumcised. The arrested model has been identified as Neha, aka Meher, and preliminary investigations revealed that she is the main accused in the case.
